Debby Bellingham was found by the love of God when she was 17 years old, and that love has faithfully kept her since then. Her greatest understanding of herself and her relationship with God is that she is beloved and broken. She says, “I wake up every morning eager to hear God’s voice of love and then share it through my writing, words, and life.” As an author, a spiritual director, and a spiritual formation retreat facilitator, she loves to create opportunities for individuals and groups to experience a closer connection with God. Her training as a licensed marriage and family therapist equips her to understand better the relationship between the spiritual, relational, and psychological aspects of a person’s soul. She has served as a pastor in San Francisco, a chaplain to pastors in Paris, France, a youth outreach missionary with Young Life in California. She has her BA in Communication (Sacramento State University), her MS in Counseling (San Francisco State University), and her DMin in Christian Spiritual Formation (Graduate Theological Foundation). She’s a follower of Jesus Christ, a wife, stepmom, grandmother, and is owned by two dogs and a large garden. She lives in the Hudson River Valley of New York. You can check out her ministry and offerings by visiting her webpage debbybellingham.com. She blogs regularly at thementoredlife.com. She writes a daily prayer (sample following) and seasonal devotionals.

I was interviewed by Rev. Albert Hahn about entering the Wilderness during Lent. It turns out I spoke more about life's wilderness experiences. Please watch this and hopefully be blessed. Check out his facebook page for more resources.
